The Merriam Webster dictionary defines a Corsair as a “Privateer”, or essentially, a pirate ship. Perhaps not a theme Lincoln should be exploring with its new crossover but the name flows more smoothly off the tongue than the MKC moniker of its predecessor.

2020 Hyundai Venue Ultimate

The Venue is an all-new model that debuted at the New York show in 2019 and went on sale early this year. The Venue replaced the Accent as Hyundai’s base model in the U.S., but that car continues in Canada, at least for 2020.

Though sold as a crossover, the Venue is just a tall hatchback as it lacks all-wheel drive.

2020 Ford Escape Hybrid

The first Escape hybrid power was introduced for the 2005 model year, continued for the 2008 update, skipped the 2013-2019 generation and returned for 2020.

The early-release 2013 JX35 which went on sale in the spring of 2012 is essentially a long-wheelbase, seven-seater version of the Nissan Murano. Most auto manufacturers have offered a three-row Compact Utility Vehicle for years, but Infiniti was slow to join the mainstream.
