There is a lot of movement in the Electric and PHEV segment. Chevrolet updated its Bolt, including a slightly larger version called the EUV. Hyundai retired the BEV version Ioniq to make way from its new showroom mate, the Ioniq5. Not to be left out, Kia has released the EV6, which has been spun off the component set of the Ioniq 5. Nissan ups its BEV game by introducing The Ariya. Polestar, a new brand conjured up by Geely (parent firm of Volvo), is on sale. It shares its platform and power units with the Volvo XC40 Recharge but Geely has bypassed Volvo's distribution network and sells the car online. At the end of the alphabet, Volkswagen orchestrated a soft-launch of its ID.4 electric crossover.
