Honda U.S.A. issued a formal warranty extension program for this repair to 9 years or 125,000 miles (200,000 km).
This issue is distinct from the issue with the Honda and Acura Idle Stop feature that sometimes shuts down the vehicle owner intervention and won’t restart right away.
