The phone-actuated unlocking system (called PaaK) may not work to the vehicle owner’s satisfaction, or the owner may prefer a second remote control. Ford dealers will supply owners a second remote control and key at no charge until August 5, 2023. Vehicle owners who paid for a second remote control are eligible for a refund up to August 5, 2023.
